The following chart gives a description of golf scorecard abbreviations.

Golf Score Terms
There is a quick reference of golf score related terms you should familiarize yourself with.
- ace
- hole-in-one; a score of 1 on a hole
- albatross
- double eagle; a score of 3 under par for a hole… (Be suspicious of anyone claiming an albatross in Par 3 (pitch and putt) golf!)
- birdie
- a score of one under (less than) par for a hole
- bogey
- a score of one over (more than) par for a hole
- condor
- triple eagle; a score 4 under par on a hole (e.g., a hole-in-one on a par 5)
- deuce
- a score of 2 on a hole
- eagle
- a score of two under (less than) par for a hole
- hole-in-one
- ace; a score of 1 on a hole
